Dr. Glenn A. Smiley

Dr. Glenn Arthur Smiley died at home in the company of his wife and family on February 27th.   He lived a long and full life, born in 1924, flying 35 missions for the Army Air Force during WWII, and practicing medicine in Delavan for more than 30 years. He leaves behind his legacy: a dedication to medicine and a robust enthusiasm for life, expressed in his love of fishing, travel, goose-hunting, good company and brandy. Dr. Smiley will be greatly missed by his wife, Jeanne, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his many friends and patients.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan and an hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
