Thursday, October 4th, 2012Lillian A. "Lil" Jaeger, of Stone Bank, died peacefully on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the age of 88. She was born on May 23, 1924 in Milwaukee, the daughter of August and Katherine (Schuppner) Lind. Lil was united in marriage to Kenneth A. Jaeger on April 12, 1958; he preceded her in death in 1985. She was employed for many years at Stone Bank Elementary School as a bookkeeper until retirement. She was a previous member of the Stone Bank Lionesses Club, and was very active in her church, St. John's Lutheran. An avid baker and sewer, Lil made many items during her retirement that were donated through the church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and was especially good at beating them in Rummy.
Lil will be deeply missed by her children: Robin (John) Monroe of Verona, Ken (Kathy) Jaeger of New Hampshire, and Jay (Kellie) Jaeger of Stone Bank; grandchildren: Sara and Cari Monroe, Alexis and Caroline Jaeger, and Hans Jaeger.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 9, at 3:00 PM, at St. John's Lutheran Church, W334 N6990 Stone Bank Rd., Oconomowoc, with visitation from 1:00 PM until time of service at the church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
