Agnes "Lady" Panka

DELAVAN – Agnes “Lady” Panka, age 91, of Delavan passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, March 11, 2016 at her home in Delavan, WI. She was born on May 11, 1924 to Michael and Mary (Weber) Liempeck. Agnes was united in marriage to Vincent Panka on July 3, 1943 in West Allis. She was a resident of Delavan (Westshire Farms) for many years. Agnes had lived in Post Lake and New Berlin, WI prior to moving to Delavan.

Agnes is survived by her devoted husband of 72 years, Vincent; three children, Daniel (Pamela) Panka, of West Allis, Gary (Karen) Panka, of Dousman, and Cathy (Thomas) Luczkowiak, of Paddock Lake; six grandchildren, Renee (Jim Miller) Panka, Mark Panka, Tiffany (Lucas) Lemaster, Nicholas Panka, Matthew (Jennifer) Luczkowiak, and Lindsay Luczkowiak; 10 great grandchildren, Katie (Thomas) Lima, Carrie Heath, Eric Heath, Jake (Kayla Benson) Panka, Dalton Panka, Anna Lemaster, Elise Lemaster, Reece Luczkowiak, Silas Luczkowiak, and Sofia Luczkowiak; great-great grandchild, Ellegra Panka; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.  Agnes is preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Catherine (Joe) Hayes, Mathilda (Chris) Engebregtsen, Elizabeth (Chuck) Reed, Anna (Orville) Kalke, John (Esther) Liempeck, Michael (Joanne) Liempeck, and Mary (William) Patefield.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, 137 Dewey Ave in Fontana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the church. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva. The family would like to thank the staff of Aurora Lakeland ER, ICU, and hospice nurses for their loving kindness and care of “Lady”.
