DELAVAN – Arlene May (Finster) Hessler, age 97, of Delavan passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at her home in Delavan. She was born in Delavan on February 8, 1921 to Henry R. and Margaret “Gretchen” (Duesterbeck) Finster. She graduated from Delavan High School in 1939 and held various secretarial and management positions. She was a lifelong member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Arlene is preceded in death by her husbands, Burton Mackey and Richard Hessler; her parents; and a brother, Marvin Finster.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 416 W. Geneva Street in Delavan with Rev. Robert P. Rickman officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Saturday at the church. Burial will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Arlene’s name.
