Wednesday, October 24th, 2012Avery J. McCarthy, age 11 of Delavan, Wi., went home to be with our Lord, Wednesday, October 24, 2012. She was born on October 5, 2001 in Elkhorn, Wi., the daughter of Bridget McCarthy and Scott Reese. Avery was a very enthusiastic 5th grader at The Delavan Christian Grade School in Delavan, Wi.
Avery is survived by her mother, Bridget (Fiance, Matt Vavra) McCarthy of Delavan. Her father, Scott (Fiancee, Tammy Collins) Reese of Delavan. Her siblings; Jadrian Ochoa, Brody McCarthy-Vavra, Kaylee and Joey. Aunts and Uncles; Shannon (Jeff) Werfelmann, Shawn McCarthy, Patrick (Financee, Melissa Gann) McCarthy, Mike (Kim) Reese and Tracy (Danny) Huguley. Grandparents; Bill and Lois McCarthy and Michael and Arlene Reese. Great-Grandmother, Johanna Sterken. Avery is preceded in death by her Great-grandparents, Henry Sterken and Victor (Lorraine) Patch.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am Monday October 29, 2012 at the Delavan Christian Reformed Church in Delavan, Wi. with Rev. Dan Roeda officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Delavan Christian Grade Schoool Gymnasium located at 848 Oak St. in Delavan.
