Beatrice Betty Doering, age 88 of Delavan WI, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Alden Meadow Park Health Care Center in Clinton, WI. She was born July 20, 1925 to Edward and Anna (Maas) Kitzman. Beatrice was baptized September 1925 and confirmed November 1938. She graduated from Sharon High School in 1945. Beatrice was united in marriage to Donald Doering in June 29, 1946 and was blessed with two sons, Richard and Dennis. She worked most of her married life at Bradleys Department Store in Delavan, WI, and Oaks Manufacturing in Elkhorn, WI. Her husband and both sons served the US Navy, which she was very proud of. Beatrice is survived by her son Richard Doering, granddaughter Sara Doering -Cruz, three grandsons; Thomas Doering, Daniel Garber and Matthew Boutelle, four great-grandchildren; Teri, Michael, Noah and Colton, three sisters; Mary Ann Young, Gladys Black, and Doris Seibert. She was preceded in passing by her husband, Donald, her son, Dennis, two brothers; Glenn Kitzman and Ronald Kitzman, and one sister, Barbara Schafer.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Monroe Funeral Home, in Delavan, WI. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until service time at the funeral home.
