Delavan/ Beverly Marie Utiger age 89, of Delavan, passed away Sunday July 25, 2010 at her home at Ridgestone Village in Delavan. She was born January 30, 1921 in Racine Wi.,the daughter of Florence Payne. Beverly married Morris Utiger March 30, 1946 and he preceded her in death June 3, 2007. Along with her husband, they moved to Delavan and purchased Pelzer Jewelry and for the next 20 years they operated it as Utiger Jewelry. The business is now third generation family owned and operated. Also, they later purchased Wooley Office Supply which Beverly and Morrris operated as Utiger Office Supply until 1979. She was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church.
She is survived by 3 daughters; Morrene (Vic) Wexler of Milwaukee, Greta (Andy) Tully of Waukesha and Lisa (Tom) Block of Wauwatosa; 1 son Andrew Utiger of Berkeley, Ca.. 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is preceded by her mother, husband Morris and her daughter Siri Voskuil.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Friday July 30, 2010 at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Delavan with Fr. Jim Schuerman officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 am to service time Friday at the church. Burial will be at St. Andrews Cemetery. Memorials made be made to the Delavan Food Pantry. MONROE FUNERAL HOME, Delavan is assisting the family.
