DELAVAN – Bonnie Ruth Anderson, age 76, of Delavan Township passed away peacefully with love surrounding her on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Aurora Summit Hospital. She was born in the NY Harbor on a naval ship to Captain Russell and Ruth Anderson (Miss Sweden). She was a world traveler in her younger years schooling in England. She loved being a “Jersey Girl” and never forgot her roots. Her heart would bring her to the Midwest to settle in a log cabin in the woods. She would open “Munchkin Manor” her dog sitting business of 30+ years. Her clients became lifelong friends. She was a also a renown psychic in our area, working her last 15 years at Ralph’s Steakhouse giving readings tableside until her retirement in 2006.
Bonnie is survived by all the lives she touched and all the animals she saved.
A Visitation will be held from 11:30 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan with services to follow. Burial will be at East Delavan Union Cemetery. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing. Bonnie was a member of the Fontana Community Church and Rev. Ruth Costello will be officiating.
Her love of animals, her love of friends, and her love of God were her strengths.
