DELAVAN - After a two-year battle with cancer, it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Brian Charles Murphy, a beloved brother, father and grandfather. Brian passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at The Willows Nursing and Rehab Center in Sun Prairie. He was born on January 25, 1961 to Leonard and Delores (Bohn) Murphy. Brian worked for many years at Everbrite. He will be remembered as a passionate Packers fan by family and friends and was proud to be a life-long resident of Delavan, Wisconsin. Most importantly, he was a deeply devoted father to his son, Nathan (Kendra) Bouda, and an adoring grandfather to his grandson, Wesley. He is also survived by his siblings, Michael Murphy, of Delavan, Mark Murphy, of Racine, and Brenda (Melvin Maicke) Murphy, of Madison. Brian is preceded in death by his parents. He will be greatly missed by both family and friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at St. James Cemetery in Vermont Township. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Rainbow Hospice for their love and support.
