DELAVAN – Bruce J. Turek, age 81, of Delavan passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Mercy Walworth Hospital. He was born in Cicero, IL on August 24, 1940 to Edward and Mildred (Picorni) Turek. Bruce is a veteran of the Korean War. Bruce was the owner and operator of Standard Oil and Gas Stations in Elmhurst, IL.
Bruce is survived by his son, Bruce Turek Jr.; grandchildren, Brandon (Dori Jordan) Turek, and Amanda Turek (Zachary); great grandchild, Evelyn; brother, Alan; nieces and nephews; and Renae Dunbar.
Bruce is preceded in death by his parents.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M – 6:00 P.M. on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan.
