ALLENS GROVE – Carrin Janeen Davis, age 76, passed away peacefully at her home near Darien, Wisconsin on April 8th, 2025. Carrin was born on January 2nd, 1949 in Clinton, Wisconsin, to Dorothy Tucker and Kenneth Skogen.
Carrin will be remembered by her loving family, children: Michael (Kim), and Shane (Valerie); grandchildren: Daniel, and Elizabeth; siblings: Janice (Chuck) and Butch (Peg); siblings-in-law: Vicki(Dan), Kevin, and Kathy; nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. Carrin was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Brian.
Attending Delavan-Darien High School as a teenager, Carrin met Vicki Davis, who would be a lifelong friend as well as sister-in-law. In 1977, Carrin married Vicki’s brother, Brian, and with their son Michael, moved to Culver City, California where they remained for the rest of the 1970s. Returning to Delavan, Wisconsin, where their second son Shane was born, Carrin worked a number of jobs before becoming a candy packer at Andes Candies, where she would continue to work for over 20 years.
Her hobbies and interests included genealogy, sewing, a considerable Barbie collection, mystery novels and TV series, crafting, browsing the local flea market, and especially gardening, becoming a certified Master Gardener in 2004. She also loved traveling with her husband and family on numerous cross-country adventures.
A memorial service will take place at the American Legion Post 95 in Delavan on May 16, 2025 at 3:00PM. Per her wishes, her remains were cremated and spread over the garden at their country home.
