Charmaine A. Ingalls, age 61, of Delavan passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at home. She was born in Chicago on October 9, 1960 to David and Patricia (Mulvanny) McGhie.
She graduated from Bella Vista High School in Fair Oaks, CA. She always loved California! Char moved to Delavan, WI after she graduated with her family the year of 1971. Shortly after she met David Ingalls. They were married for 17 years and had a daughter. Char worked for Getzen’s Company Inc. for 12 years. Then she worked at ITW Filtration for 17 years. She loved bowling, fishing, boating, and snowmobiling. Char also enjoyed Nascar Pool Leagues at Endzone Sports Bar with her Mom for many years.
Charmaine is survived by her daughter, Brandie, of Delavan; grandson, Gavin; two brothers, David McGhie, of IL, and Willie Valentine, of MN; two aunts, Donna Metcalf, of Delavan and Linda Flannigan, of Janesville; and she was a very special aunt to Patrick and Paisley Valentine, of MN, and Michelle and David McGhie, of Oshkosh.
Charmaine is preceded in death by her parents and reunited with many family members and close friends.
A Reception will be held in Char’s honor at Endzone Sports Bar, 4112 Blue Gill Road in Delavan on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 3:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.
