DELAVAN – Cindy L. Valdez, age 64, of Delavan passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at home in Delavan. She was born in Durand, WI on April 12, 1957. Cindy was united in marriage to Gil Valdez on July 7, 1979. She worked as a housekeeper and in retail. Cindy enjoyed crocheting, spending time with family, and demolition derbies with her brothers.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Gil Valdez, of Delavan; children, Gilbear, of Black River Falls, Codie (Frank) Valdez, of Delavan; step-children, Sherry Valdez Cruz, of Lake Geneva, Becky (Jay) Boss, of Delavan, Penny (Tab) Mittlested, of MO; siblings, Rick (Deb) Hoffman, of Wheeler, Dawn (John) Hunter, of Delavan, Bob (Nancy) Hoffman, of Menomonie, Randy Hoffman, of Wheeler, Ron (Robin) Hoffman, of Ridgeland, Sheila Varela, of Janesville, Stephanie (Kevin) Hoffman, of Menomonie; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Cindy is preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Churchill; father, Richard Hoffman; step son, Kenny Jo Heinrich; brothers, Richard Hoffman and Earl Hoffman; niece Nikki Varela; grandson, Christopher Cocroft; Grandma Loback; and many aunts and uncles.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 13, 2021 at East Delavan Baptist Church, 3205 Theatre Road in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M until the time of the service on Friday at the church.
