It is with great sadness we announce Colleen (Co, Coey) Sue Hall, age 68 of Delavan passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones after a courageous fight with cancer on January 12, 2025. She was born on May 21, 1956, in Harvard, IL to Harold and Marjorie Hall. She attended Fontana Elementary School then graduated from Big Foot High School. She retired from Advanced Fittings as a Quality Control Inspector. She was the best of the best in her field, and all went to her for help and advice.
Colleen enjoyed football and cheering on her team, the Chicago Bears. She loved playing cards with friends and golf, golf, golf. She was a member of Delbrook Golf Course for a number of years enjoying her time on the greens. She was especially excited and proud of her Hole in One! She also enjoyed bowling and was one of the best in her league. Her favorite flower was a rose. She loved taking care of her rose bushes. So beautiful they could have been in a magazine.
Her claim to fame was her extensive collection of all things Snoopy. She loved everything Charles Schultz. She had a room designated just for her collection and who knew there were so many different Snoopy/Peanuts T-Shirts! Co did, ‘cuz she found and wore them!
Her favorite place to be in was Door County. She loved being in nature, feeding the birds, sitting by the firepit, watching the deer, and picking up sticks in the yard. She was dubbed the nickname, ‘Official Stick Picker Upper’. It was truly her happy place. The beauty and quietness renewed her soul and filled her heart with peace. She so enjoyed heading to Red Room, in Door County, for the best burger, fries, cold beer and the friendship of Nick & Crystal.
Colleen was a beautiful, kind, giving, compassionate person. She never met a stranger. She cared very deeply for her family and friends. They were her world. She made a profound impact on so many lives. She will forever be missed but never forgotten.
Colleen was welcomed at the gates of Heaven by her parents, grandparents Almon and Ethel Hall, her favorite Aunt Patty, special friends George & Joanne among others.
Colleen is survived by the love of her life and beloved partner of 44 years, Connie Nichols. Sister Cheryl (Sneryl) (Larry) Lukas of Cummings, GA, brother Harold (Har) Hall of Delavan, WI, sister Brenda (Skinny) Heath of Atlanta, GA.
