Darien / Don Edwin Cossman, age 54 of Darien , passed away Monday, April 19, 2010 at his home. He was born April 28, 1955 in Elkhorn , the son of Robert and Shirley (Wilkins) Cossman. He married Alice Pearce on July 3, 1979 in New Orleans. He was employed as a Machinist at S.P.X. in Delavan. He was a member of the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Delavan. He loved Harley motorcycles and enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Alice of Darien; 2 sisters, Jean (Richard) Parks of La Grange Park, IL and Dixie (Dale) Bernsteen of Delavan; 3 brothers, Richard (Katie) Cossman of Janesville, Timothy Cossman of Delavan and Randy (Robyn) Cossman of Shirland, IL; mother and step-father, Shirley and Robert Black of Delavan; grandmother, Alma Wilkins of Delavan; also nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert, a sister Pamela and his 2 grandfathers, Frank Cossman and Edward Wilkins.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am , Friday, April 23, 2010 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Delavan with Rev. Robert P. Rickman officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service at the Church. Burial will be at the Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan at a later date. Memorials may be made to the VNA Hospice or the Lakeland Animal Shelter. MONROE FUNERAL HOME, Delavan, is assisting the family.
