DELAVAN – David A. Loft, age 75, of Delavan passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 in Delavan. He was born in Beloit on September 22, 1943 to Arthur and Anna (Georgeson) Loft. David graduated from Beloit High School in 1961 and UW Madison in 1966 and received his Masters from DeKalb University. He was united in marriage to Suzanne Seuser on May 30, 1973. David was owner/operator of the Delavan Holiday Gift Shop until 1986. He also worked at Equitable Investment in Madison. David was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Beloit.
David is survived by his wife of 46 years, Suzanne; a brother, Charles (Karen) Loft, of Beloit; two nieces, Karen (Kim) Stanek, of Beloit, and Deb (Todd) Peterson, of Beloit; and three grand nieces.
David is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Barbara O’Brien.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan. Memorials can be directed to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
