DELAVAN – David Ritchay, age 34, of Delavan ended his struggle with addiction and was called home to Jesus on March 24, 2021. David was born January 3, 1987 in Ripon, WI. He attended Delavan-Darien High School class of 2005. David started working for a carpet cleaning company at 16 and started his own successful business, Masters Cleanings LLC in 2012.
David’s biggest joy in life was his daughter, Makena. He always loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. David spent many days in the woods with his brothers, Justin and Billy. Everyone who knew him would describe him as a kind, hard-working, loyal man. He will be greatly missed by all.
David is survived by his daughter, Makena Ritchay and her mother, Megan Peterson; parents, Renae Means and Mike Ritchay; siblings, Melissa Garrett, Lauren Park, Brittany Schurman, Justin Schurman, Heidi Schurman, Billy Means, Kaitlyn Means, Meagan Nicewander, and Morgan Nellis; grandparents, David and Judith Brellenthin; girlfriend, Kimberly Mucci; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
David is preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Ellen Ritchay; and his brother, Mason Nellis.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at New Horizons Sports Bar, 214 S. 7th Street in Delavan.
