Devin J. Olson

WILLIAMS BAY – Devin J. Olson, age 15, of Williams Bay passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Rainbow Hospice in Johnson Creek.  He was born in Elkhorn on September 16, 2008.  Devin was a bright light to all who were blessed to know him. He had a sweet smile and infectious laugh. He loved music and being read to. He loved hearing the loud chaos of a house full of family and friends. He enjoyed basking in his wheelchair in his family’s sun room. He loved the little squeals of his nieces. He was a big fan of bumpy van rides. He will be forever missed. 

Devin is survived by his parents, John and Jennifer Olson, of Williams Bay; two sisters, Cameron (Nile) Finney, of Gaylord, MI, and Mallory (Nathan) Fettig, of Elkhorn; two brothers, Joshua (Lauren) Olson, of Phoenix, AZ, and Seth (fiancée Lily Hess) Olson, of Williams Bay; grandparents, George and Carol Mackey, of Williams Bay; two nieces Nadia and Kaia; a nephew, Bennett; and many additional family. 

Devin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Verdell and Verna Olson.

A Celebration of Life for Devin will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at East Delavan Baptist Church, 3205 Theatre Road in Delavan.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Saturday at the church. A luncheon gathering will be held following the Celebration of Life Service. A Private Family Burial will take place. Devin’s family wishes to thank his special nurses at Children’s Wisconsin West 4 PICU, his Complex Care/Special Needs team, the Rainbow Hospice, the Town of Delavan Fire Department and Grandma Carol who gave such loving care to him for the last 3 years. 

Because of Jesus’ resurrection we have the hope of eternity - we know we’ll see our precious boy again!
