Donald D. Jonuska, age 76, of Delavan WI, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI.
He was born in Chicago, IL on December 14, 1946, to Frank and Helen (Simmons) Jonuska. He attended St. Andrew’s Parish School, Delavan-Darien High School Class of 1964 and UW-Platteville. He proudly served in the U.S. Marines with one tour in Vietnam.
He was united in marriage to Mary (Wilson) on June 18, 1997. He worked 32 years at GM in Janesville, WI. He was a past Vice-Commander of the Adams/Friendship Legion Post and Honor Guard. He was also a member of the Town of Delavan Fire and Rescue and a past Scout Master in Delavan.
He enjoyed woodworking, HO model trains, trap shooting, RVing and traveling, especially to the Southwest.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Frank and Jim.
Donald is survived by his wife, Mary; children Donald & Angie Jonuska and their children Hailey and Braydon of Soda Springs, Idaho; David & Jen Jonuska and his children Aiden and Alaina of Delafield, WI; Joe & Denise Osborne and their children Brooke and Hailey of Edgerton, WI; Marlyn & David Christen of Elkhorn, WI; Tony Valadez & Amber Arens and their children Junior, Iysa, Pedro and Johnathon of Darien, WI; Marcia Valadez & Gilbert Gonzalez and their children Elian, Diego and Emilio of Delavan, WI.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
