GENOA CITY – Donald W. Fort Sr., age 80, of Genoa City passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Golden Years in Lake Geneva. He was born on December 26, 1943 in Chicago to Iles and Virginia (Kaelber) Fort. Don was united in marriage to Vicki Reimer in 1980 in Richmond, IL. Don loved working on cars and going hunting with his family. He loved his family and would do anything for them.
Donald is survived by his wife, Vicki; son, Don Jr (daughter-in-law, Tara) Fort, and daughter, Misty; 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Jacob, Jenna, Cody, Brett, and Dalton; and a brother, Iles (Carol) Fort.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tammy; brother, Glenn Fort; and a sister, Beverly Johnson.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, December 9, 2024 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan. Memorials can be directed to the Humane Society of Southeastern Wisconsin, 4700 S. County Trunk G, Janesville, WI 53546. The family would like to give thanks to Golden Years for the care of Don and his family.
