DARIEN – Douglas L. Hayes, age 70, of Darien passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 at home in Darien. He was born in Beloit on May 12, 1950 to Russell and Margaret Hayes. Doug proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was at Bliss Machine in Darien for many years. Doug was united in marriage to Cynthia Stumpner on November 11, 1995.
Doug is survived by his wife of 25 years, Cynthia; a son, Andrew (Jenny Adkins) Hayes, of Stevens Point; two brothers, Richard Hayes, of Plover, and Dean (Jan) Hayes, of Beloit; and nieces and nephews.
Doug is preceded in death by his parents; and a sister-in-law, Jackie Hayes.
