DELAVAN – Duane A. Duesterbeck, age 92, of Delavan passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at Golden Years in Lake Geneva. He was born in on July 13, 1933 to Alvin and Dorothy (Burrow) Duesterbeck. Duane was united in marriage to Evelyn Kelly on July 3, 1954 in Darien. She passed away on October 26, 2018. Duane proudly served in the U.S. Army. He worked for many years at the Wisconsin Southern Gas Company. Duane was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Delavan and the Darien American Legion.
Duane is survived by his three children, Teresa (Jerry) Farnsworth, of Delavan, Lori (Thomas) Sullivan, of Kenosha, and Darrell (Tricia) Duesterbeck, of Sharon; six grandchildren, Jenni (Steve) Kraayeveld, of Darien, Ryan (Jamie) Cutts, of Lake Geneva, Lisa (Zach) Hansen, of Roseville, CA, Katie (Mike) Anderson, of Kenosha, Madeline Duesterbeck, of Sharon, and Miya Duesterbeck, of Sharon; great grandchildren, Owen Cutts, Kaitlyn Kraayeveld, Ethan Kraayeveld, Brielle Hansen, Ava Sullivan, Kaylee Anderson, Raya Anderson, and Aria Hansen; and step-sister, Esther Schwabe.
Duane is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Evelyn; and a brother, Larry.
Public Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan. Private Family Burial will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery.
