Edward A. Roling

 

Edward A. Roling, age 57 of Madison, WI, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at his home in Madison, WI.  He was born on December 13, 1956,  the son of Edward and Helene (Clark) Roling.  He graduated from Delavan-Darien High School in 1975.  He went on to play football at Milton College where he graduated in 1979.  He played guitar for Janesville's St. Mary's Church for 28 years.  He was an avid Notre Dame and Madison football fan, and loved playing his guitar, listening to his favorite music and spending time on the water. Edward was employed for many years as a Senior Production Manager at Stephen-Brady Advertising Agency in Madison WI.

He is survived by his four daughters; Brieanne (Carlos) Maldonado-Cruz of Milwaukee, Amanda (Addam) Fisher of Waukesha, Natalie (Nic) Thies of Janesville, and Heather Roling of Waukesha, four grandchildren; Liam, Emma, Henry, and Cecelia, one sister, Cynthia (David) Kraayeveld, two brothers, Mark Roling and Tom (Christy) Roling, his mother, Helene Roling, nephew, Matthew Fleming, who was like a son to him, as well as many other nieces and nephews.  His  dear special friend, Kay Syse of Middleton, WI.  Edward was preceded in passing by his father, and sister, Janet.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church.  Visitation will be from 9:30am until 11:00am at the St. Andrew's on Tuesday.  MONROE FUNERAL HOME, in Delavan, WI, is assisting the family.  Visit us at monroefh.com.
