DELAVAN – Eleanore V. Moore, age 84, of Delavan passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at her home in Delavan. She was born in Wausau, WI on September 15, 1932 to August and Blanche (Wiskowski) Jaskie. Eleanore was united in marriage to Gary Moore on June 30, 1956 and he passed away on February 20, 2008. She worked for over 15 years at Del-Mart in Delavan. Eleanore was a longtime member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church and was very active with the Walworth County Special Olympics.
Eleanore is survived by a daughter, Jean (Jerry) Mortier, of Rhinelander, WI; two sons, Ronald (Cathy) Moore, of Wausau, WI, and Donald Moore, of Delavan; seven grandchildren, Stacey, Steven, Erin, Kari, Aimee, Ashley, and Bruce; seven great grandchildren, Makayla, Tyler, Ariah, Landon, Paige, Lexi, and Michael Jr.; three sisters, Donna, Carol, and Diane; a brother, Rick; and many nieces and nephews.
Eleanore is preceded in death by her husband, Gary; her parents; a daughter, Eileen; and a son-in-law, David Clauer.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Thursday at the church. Burial will take place at St. Andrews Cemetery in Delavan.
