Evelyn E. Isherwood, age 88 of Delavan, Wi., found eternal peace on Thursday January 17, 2013 at Willowfield Nursing Home in Delavan, Wi. She was born December 15, 1924 in the Stevens Point area, the daughter of Joseph and Emma (Langer) Flaig. She became the beloved wife of John Isherwood on October 19, 1945 in Stevens Point Wi. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Delavan, Wi. Evelyn was employed at Oaks manufacturing in Elkhorn, Wi. for 32 years before retiring. She is survived by her husband John of Delavan, Wi. Her 2 daughters; Joyce Smith of Delavan, Wi. and Cheryl (Ray) Alberth of Delavan, Wi. Her son, Kim Isherwood of Whitewater Wi. 8 grandchildren; Kim Isherwood Jr., Diana ( Mike) Lies, Paula (Scott) Koepke, Ray (Michelle) Alberth, Tammy (Mike) Neiger, Pammy Norris, Rebecca Medley, Heather Conaway. 23 Great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren. 2 brothers; Walter (Lillian) Flaig and Ray Flaig. 1 sister, Helen Niemczyk. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Ralph and Joseph Jr.. 3 sisters; Emma Grover, Christine Snow and Catherine Czlapinski. Her daughter, Sandra Lee Bowey. 1 great grandson and 2 great-great granddaughters.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am Saturday January 26, 2013 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, Wi. with Fr. Gary Nowicki officiating.
