DELAVAN – Frances “Fran” Metcalf, age 73, of Delavan passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn. She was born in California on August 24, 1943 to William and Elizabeth (Mouw) Jongetjes. Fran enjoyed playing cards weekly with friends.
Fran is survived by her children, Steve Metcalf, of Delavan; Pam (Brian) Breuer, of Rhinelander; two grandchildren, Joey and Mady; and siblings, John (Marge) Jongetjes, Hank (Linda) Johnson, and Harriet (George) Tjeerdsma.
Fran is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Gert Hiemstra.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Delavan Christian Reformed Church, 850 Oak Street in Delavan with Rev. Tim Kooiman officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service on Friday at the church. Burial will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan. Memorials can be directed to Delavan Christian School.
