Gary L. Simmons, age 72 of Janesville, Wi. passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at his home in Janesville. He was born February 3, 1939 in Wellsville New York, the son of Wayne and Doris (McGill) Simmons. After retiring from Standard Oil Refinery in Casper Wy., Gary worked as a Security Guard at Geneva National in Lake Geneva Wi. for many years untill his retirement. He was a member of the Congregational Church in Emerald Grove. He also was a Veteran, serving with the U.S. Army. Gary enjoyed playing golf in Hawaii while vacationing there with his family.
Gary is survived by his brother, Keith (Dorothy) Simmons of Delavan Wi. and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 niece and 1 nephew.
