LAKE GENEVA - Georgia “GiGi” B. Hart, 92, of Lake Geneva, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Autumn Lake Health Care in Beloit.
She was born on December 19, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, to Edward and Alice (Ratty) Latch.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Alice Latch; her beloved son, Richard Stam; her infant daughter, Sherry Hart; and her daughter-in-law, Colleen Hart.
Georgia is lovingly remembered by her children: Wendy Stam of Elkhorn, WI; Michael (Kris) Stam of Lake Geneva, WI; Patrick Stam of Lake Geneva, WI; Karen Hart (Steven Jeskewitz) of Naperville, IL; Debra Drews of Lake Geneva, WI; Thomas Hart (Timothy Nelson) of Williams Bay, WI; and Jamie Hart of Burlington, WI. She is further survived by eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, her sister Charlotte, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Georgia was a devoted mother to eight children who loved her family deeply. She had a passion for art and music and brought joy wherever she went. Everyone who met Georgia was greeted with a warm smile and a cheerful chuckle.
She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren, especially during the holidays. Family gatherings were her greatest joy, and she made sure every child had a special gift from Grandma.
Georgia’s love, kindness, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
