Janet L. Adams, age 90 of Elkhorn, WI passed away on July 26, 2024. She was born in Chippewa Falls, WI to Lorraine (Bean) and William Anderson. She was married to Ambus Adams of Tuskegee, Al. on Oct 20th, 1951 in Chippewa Falls, WI. After graduation, she worked at Presto Industries in Eau Claire, WI as a Phone Operator. After raising her daughter, she worked at Wissota Lakesides in Chippewa Falls as a receptionist. After retiring, she moved to Marshfield, WI where she helped to raise her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Amber (Richard) Huber of Williams Bay, WI. Her granddaughter Autumn Huber of Milwaukee and her three great-grandchildren Alex (7), Oliver (5), and Ella (1). Her granddaughter Brianna of Colorado Springs and her grandson Adam of Silvas, Il. She has 3 surviving siblings. From Chippewa Falls, Wi., Wanda (John) Larson and Gordon (Pat) Anderson and from Minneapolis, WI., Sharon Anderson.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and three siblings.
She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family. There will be a private celebration of life on July 29th and 30th at her daughter’s home. Her burial will be at Prairie View Cemetery in Hallie, WI.
