THIENSVILLE – Janet S. Moebus, age 78, of Thiensville passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at The Glenwood at Mulberry in Whitewater. She was born on June 5, 1946 in Milwaukee to Charles “Bill” and Grace (Hutchinson) Schumacher. Janet loved working with her students at the university, was a retired band mom, and had a sarcastic sense of humor. She also enjoyed cooking and was a very good seamstress.
Janet is survived by her two children, Allison (Paul) Page, of Delavan, and Justin Moebus; two grandchildren, Madison and Logan; a brother, Robert Schumacher, of Milwaukee; and a niece, Rachael.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan. Visitation will held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Special thanks to the staff at Glenwood, Rainbow Hospice, and her friend, John Kolberg.
