DELAVAN – Janice E. Rumsey, age 79, of Littleton, CO formerly of Winnetka, IL passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022 in Libertyville, IL. She was born on February 5, 1943 to George and Marjorie (Bolen) Malek. Janice was married to William (Bill) Rumsey in 1970 until his death in 1992. A brilliant artist, she had her work displayed in art shows and won awards in both Illinois and Colorado. Janice also worked for several years in Douglas County School District as an education assistant.
Janice is survived by her daughter, Sarah Rumsey of Denver, CO and her grandson, Max Lehman and his wife Stephanie of Grayslake, IL.
Janice is preceded in death by her husband, Bill, their daughter, Anna Rumsey Lehman, and her sister, Judith Moulding.
Celebrations of Life will be held in both Illinois and Colorado at a later date.
