Jason M. Sterken, age 30 of Monona, Wi., formerly of Beloit Wi. and Delavan, Wi., passed away Saturday March 30, 2013 due to the result of an auto accident in the Madison area. He was born August 11, 1982 in Janesville, Wi., the son of Robert and Tama (Hartman) Sterken. Jason was a graduate of Delavan-Darien High School and attended U.W. Stout and Chippewa Valley Technical College. He was employed as a Senior Computer Programer at Shine United Advertising in Madison, Wi. Jason is survived by his parents, Bob and Tammy Sterken of Delavan, Wi. and his brother, Ryan (Beata Kovacs) Sterken. His grandmother, Leona (Sterken) VandeZande and his aunts and uncles; Vicki (Gary) Schoenbeck, Nancy Holden, Myra Glaske, Phylis (Larry) Gunnink, Beverly (Gene) Lammers, Lynette (Phil) Loomans, Debra Sterken, Betty (Reuben) Hopp, Rich (Carol) VandeZande, Maurice (Linda) Sterken and Warren ( Jeanne) Sterken. Also surviving are many cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed and Helen Hartman and George Sterken. 4 uncles; Eugene Hartman, Lowell Sterken, Don Glaske Sr. and Leon Holden.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am Friday April 5, 2013 at the Christian Reformed Church in Delavan, Wi., with Rev. Ted Medema officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, Wi. and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
