Delavan/ John 'Jack' Francis Mohr, 83, of Delavan, passed away Saturday November 13, 2010 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn Wi.. He was born November 26, 1926 in Chicago Il., the son of Roy I and Nellie (Moran) Mohr. John married Glenna Fry in August of 1947 in Forest Park Il., and she precedes him in death November 12, 2000. He was aTruck Driver early in life then was employed at the City of Delavan Street Dept.. Then later at the Town of Delavan Highway Dept. before retiring in 1990. He belonged to the Walworth Cty. Snowbuddies and was a member of the U.S. Navy serving during W.W.II.
John is survived by 2 sons, Jim of Delavan and Ken (Roberta) of Elmhurst Il.. 1 daughter in Law, Darlene of Delavan, 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Glenna, 1 son Dan, Twin brother Bill and brothers Howard and Roy II.
