John James Isherwood, 98, of 325 Cool Street, Delavan, WI passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 20, 2016. He was born March 19, 1918 in Stevens Point, son to James and Mary Isherwood. On October 20, 1945 he became the beloved husband of Evelyn Edna Flaig. He was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church. John was a World War II Vet. He was a Heating and Cooling businessman in Walworth County. He is survived by his son, Kim Isherwood, of Whitewater; two daughters, Joyce Smith, of Sharon, and Cheryl (Ray) Alberth, of Delavan; eight grandchildren, Kim Isherwood Jr., Diana Lies, Paula (Scot) Koepke, Ray Alberth, Tammy (Mike) Neiger, Pammy Norris, Rebecca Medley, and Heather Conaway; 23 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; and one brother, Dick Isherwood.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Evelyn; one brother, George Isherwood; one sister, Isabel Westphal; one half brother, Franklin Rienhart; one daughter, Sandra Lee (Rich) Bowey; one great grandson; and three great great granddaughters.
No wake or funeral is planned.
