ELKHORN – John W. Petersen, age 53, of Elkhorn passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn. He was born in Phoenix, AZ on January 18, 1969 to David and Rose (Fisher) Petersen. John worked as a Service Manager for F & F Tires. John was united in marriage to Donna Contreras on April 20, 2016 in Mesa, AZ.
John is survived by his wife, Donna; three daughters, April (Shealtiel Israel) Petersen, of GA, Liberty Contreras, of IL, and Ember Contreras, of Elkhorn; two sons, JD (Tessa) Petersen, of AR, and Colten Contreras, of AZ; four grandchildren; his father, David Petersen, of TX; a sister, Brenda Burfine, of TX; and a nephew.
John is preceded in death by his mother.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan.
