DELAVAN – Joyce A. Hofer, age 67, of Delavan passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015 at her home in Delavan. She was born on July 20, 1947 to Francis “Bud” and Eleanor Hofer. Joyce worked for over 30 years as a cook at the Abbey. It brings comfort to Joyce’s family knowing that she wouldn’t have chosen to spend her last day any other way. She got to enjoy a beautiful day with her grandbabies.
Joyce is survived by her daughter, Lindsay Hofer, of West Allis; and two grandchildren, Jace Wuensch and Carolyn Markham, of West Allis. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Linda.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave. Visitation will be held from 4-6 P.M. on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Monroe Funeral Home and from 10 A.M. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva.
