DELAVAN – Juanita C. Gallagher, age 94, of Delavan passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Vintage on the Ponds in Delavan. She was born in Dubuque, IA on May 21, 1922 to George and Elizabeth (Kirkpatrick) Marinoff. Juanita was united in marriage to Harold Gallagher on October 24, 1947. Harold passed away on May 1, 1974. Juanita was a member of the Sunshine Club in Sharon and Homemaker’s Club in the Burlington area.
Juanita is survived by three children, Sharon (Charles) Bates, of Elkhorn, George (Gail) Gallagher, of Delavan, and Penny Zoellner, of Clinton; grandchildren, Russ (Deanna) Bates, Kelly Gallagher, Mike (Gina) Bates, Audra (Paul) Krummel, Eric (Stacy) Gallagher, Travis Ross, Kip (Jessica Barkas) Ross, Lori Palmer, and David Zoellner; and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Juanita is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold; a brother, Dr. Ray Marinoff, step-sister, Irene; and son-in-law, Ron.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Sharon.
