DELAVAN - Julie Ann Ellison passed away on July 19, 2025, in Delavan, Wisconsin, at the age of 60. She was born on April 3, 1965, in Woodstock, Illinois. Julie was the beloved daughter of John Ellison and the late Patricia Ellison. She shared a close bond with her brother Don Ellison, sister Pam Knowles and Pam’s husband Mark. Julie also held a special place in the hearts of her niece Caitlyn Ellison, nephew Jake Ellison and great niece Kinley Rae Ellison. Her extended family included aunts, uncles and cousins who were all part of her cherished circle. Among those closest to her was her dear friend Donna Oatman whose companionship brought joy and comfort throughout the years. A deeply meaningful chapter in Julie’s life came when she helped care for her terminally ill mother – a time that reflected her compassion and unwavering love for family.
Julie found purpose and community as a dedicated member of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly), where she formed her closest friendships and achieved one of her lifelong goals – losing weight and maintaining it. Her commitment to this journey was a source of pride and inspiration to those around her. She also enjoyed playing bingo, a pastime that brought her joy and connection with others.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at Calvary Community Church, N2620 Harris Road, Lake Geneva. Visitation will take place from 10:00am – 11:00am followed by the service from 11:00am – 12:00pm. Burial will be private.
Julie’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her legacy bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
