Kathleen L. Karbash

DELAVAN – Kathleen L. Karbash, age 79, of Delavan passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn.  She was born in Janesville on January 13, 1938 to Joseph and Dorothy (Ludtke) Greer.  She graduated from Delavan High School in 1956.  Kathy was united in marriage to Thomas Karbash on June 27, 1959.  She worked as a bank teller at Citizens Bank and then worked at Geneva Lakes Kennel Club until retirement.  Kathy was very active at Delavan United Methodist Church and at their son’s restaurant, The Duck Inn.        

Kathy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Tom; a daughter, Sue (Dan) Mansfield, of Delavan; two sons, Jeff (Nora) Karbash, of Delavan, and Mark (Trisha) Karbash, of Delavan; nine grandchildren, Melissa (Marty) Wright, Evan and Emily Mansfield, Zac (Emily Grabow) Karbash, Thomas, Richard, Caitlyn, Christopher, and Mackenzie Karbash; three great grandchildren, Owen, Ella, and Lincoln Wright; and nieces and nephews. 

 Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Greer and Dorothy Fernholz; and a brother, David.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Delavan United Methodist Church, 213 S. 2nd Street in Delavan.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service on Thursday at the church.  Burial will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan.  Memorials can be directed to Delavan United Methodist Church.
