Delavan/ Kathryn M. Carroll, age 97 of Menomonee Falls formerly of Delavan passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Tamarack Place in Menomonee Falls, WI. She was born June 23, 1912 in Delavan, the daughter of John and Mary (Pope) Dooley. She married Dr. Joseph Carroll on August 2, 1941 at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Delavan and he preceded her in death on May 8, 2005. She was an Instructor at Wisconsin State School for the Deaf in Delavan and then was a home maker. She was a very active member at St. Andrews Catholic Church.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Patricia (Kenneth) Byrne of Wauwatosa, WI and Mary Carroll Walsh of Ottawa, IL; 1 son, Dr. David (Elsie) Carroll of Whitefish Bay, WI; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph, 2 sisters Marie and Elizabeth and her brother John (Jack).
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, June 10, 2010 at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Delavan with Fr. Jim Schuerman officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30am until time of service at the Church. Burial will be at St. Andrews Cemetery in Delavan. Memorials may be made to St. Andrews School or St. Andrews Endowment. MONROE FUNERAL HOME, Delavan, is assisting the family.
