DELAVAN – Leroy “Roy” L. Machnik, age 82, of Delavan passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Delavan Health Services. He was born in Milwaukee on August 30, 1938 to Louis and Estelle (Disney) Machnik. Roy proudly served in the U.S. Army. He worked for many years as a bartender at the dog track in Delavan and the Delavan American Legion. Roy also owned the Daily Double Tavern in Milwaukee for several years.
Roy is survived by his sister, Mary Bruders, of New Berlin, WI; niece, Jacqueline (James) Kartz; and nephews, James (Jennifer) Bruders, Daniel (Patty) Bruders, and Tim Machnik.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jerry.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan. A Visitation will be held from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
