Delavan/Liane Ruth Korte age 95 of Delavan, passed away Saturday August 21, 2010 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn. She was born May 25, 1915 in Galena Il., to the parents of Joseph and Edna Petitgout Turner. Liane married Florian Korte in 1950 and he preceded her in death in 2002. She was employed at the Borg's Corporation in Delavan for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by 3 daughters; Shirley (George) Bashaw of Delavan, Dorothy (John) Peters of Midland, Mi. and Karen (Bill) High of Colfax Wi. 9 grandchildren, 12 greatgrand children and 5 great-greatgrand children. 1 sister, Betty Richardson of Galena Il.. Also nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday August 25, 2010 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 am to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Milton Lawns Cemetery in Janesville Wi. MONROE FUNERAL HOME, Delavan, is assisting the family.
