Lila Brock, age 87, of Williams Bay, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024. She was born in Milwaukee on September 23, 1936. She was one of five daughters of the late Arno and Martha (nee Nadolski) Zimmerman. Lila was a resident of Williams Bay Health Center for the past two years and a former lifelong resident of the Milwaukee area.
In the early years of her career, she worked for Wisconsin Bell doing clerical work. Later, she worked in the Human Resources department at Briggs and Stratton, where she did 10-key entry with lightning fast speed. She finished her working career at Ameritech, again doing key entry and other clerical work. She enjoyed reading, particularly murder mystery books, crossword puzzles, card games, knitting, listening to music and drives in the country.
Survivors include her daughter Lauren Rick (nee Laura Brock) and many nieces and nephews.
Lila was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Brock, her parents, and her sisters Dorothy Alroy, Marion Crawford, Martha Brush and Esther Zimmerman.
No services will be held.
