DELAVAN – Lisa M. Mennig, age 52, of Delavan passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Seasons Hospice in Waukesha. She was born in Milwaukee on September 24, 1963 to Thomas and Janet (Kirsch) Mennig. Lisa was the owner of Delavan Fast Foot for over 25 years. She was a sports enthusiast and played, coached, and officiated for many years. Lisa was her niece’s and nephew’s #1 fan at sporting events.
Lisa is survived by her three siblings, Gary (Cindy) Mennig, of Beaver Dam, WI, Denise (Scott) Schultz, of Hartford, WI, and Sue (Mark) Schulteis, of Rubicon, WI; her father, Thomas; seven nieces and nephews, Ashley and Conner Mennig, Kyle and Jesse Schultz, Christa (Jamison) Kaul, Lathen Schulteis, and Sheila (Josh) Rose; and special friends, Tracy (John) Hauerwas, Debbie Dreyer, and Bob and Angela Hougas. Lisa is preceded in death by her mother and her grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Friday, January 8, 2016 at St. Kilian Catholic Church, 428 Forest Street in Hartford, WI. Visitation will be held from 4-6 P.M. on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan and from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Friday at the church. Private Burial will take place at St. Kilian Cemetery. MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan is assisting the family.
