Lola J. Van Wyhe, age 81 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at East Troy Manor in East Troy, WI. She was born on May 22, 1932, the daughter of Jacob and Katie (Helmhout) Risseeuw. Lola was united in marriage to Richard Van Wyhe on May 5, 1950. She was a member of Creek Road Community Church in Delavan, WI. Lola enjoyed sewing and gardening.
She is survived by her seven children; Jack (Kathy) Van Wyhe of Burlington,WI, Mike (Sandra) Van Wyhe of Arpin, WI, Pat (Pam) Van Wyhe of Shell Lake, WI, Robin (Barbara) Van Wyhe of Spring Prairie, WI, Cindy (Steven) Dangerfield of Clinton, WI, Penny Van Wyhe of Mukwonago, WI, and Scott (Karen) Van Wyhe of Brodhead, WI, 24 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, four sisters; Lois Kroeze, Yvonne Gretchman, Marie Odling, and Ruth Wright, and two brothers, Norman and Darrel Risseeuw. Lola was preceded in passing by her parents, husband, and sister, Audrey Bunker.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Creek Road Community Church in Delavan, WI, with Rev. David Seemuth officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30am until service time on Friday at the church. Burial will follow services at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva, WI.
