DELAVAN – Louis M. Brooder, age 92, of Delavan passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Harbor Haven in Fond du Lac. He was born in Indianapolis on August 6, 1927 to Benjamin and Ernestine Brooder. Louis proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Louis was united in marriage to Bertha Velvikis on October 19, 1957 in Kenosha. She passed away on August 29, 1999. Louis was a Past President of the Delavan Lions Club and Delavan Elks Club.
Louis is survived by his daughter, Tracy, of Hubertus, WI; and two grandchildren, Jonathan (Kristen Stevens) Kramer, of Germantown, and Colton Brooder, of Hartland.
Louis is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bertha; a son, Christopher; and a sister, Joyce Gaudio.
A Private Family Burial will be held at St. Andrew’s Cemetery in Delavan.
