DELAVAN – Lucille “Lu” M. Moorman, age 88, of Delavan passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at her home in Delavan. She was born in Gilman, Wisconsin on November 11, 1925 to Henry and Ida (Hanes) Newman. Lu was united in marriage to Jack Moorman in Racine, WI on July 19, 1948. She was the former co-owner of LuMarge Fashion in Walworth. Lu enjoyed arts and crafts, needlework, baking, and reading.
Lu is survived by her three children, Lynn (Bob) Koehl, of Delavan, Jeanne (Loy Shick) Moorman, of Duluth, GA, and Cindy (Pete) Kobylski, of Burlington; and three grandchildren, Heather (Mike) Schryer, of Burlington, Jenni Kobylski, of Burlington, and Tiffany Shick, of Duluth, GA. Lu is preceded in death by her husband, Jack; her parents; and her siblings, Betty, Lorraine, Bob, Earl, and Don.
