Lucille M. Schoppe

 

Lucille M. Schoppe, age 93 of Delavan, WI, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Mercy Walworth.  She was born on May 23, 1920 in Bensenville, IL.  The daughter of Louis and Alice (Boesch) Bork.  Lucille was united in marriage to Howard B. Schoppe at St. John's Church.  She was preceded in passing by Howard on August 21, 1997.  Lucille was a member of Richmond Methodist Church for over 64 years.  She was a member of the Fairfield Grange.  Lucille loved jig-saw puzzles, her card clubs, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her four children; Ronald (Barbara) Schoppe of Darien, Kenneth (Sharann) Schoppe of Rhinelander, Eileen (James) Dempsey of Elkhorn, and Jean (Richard) Frank of Delavan, 10 grandchildren; Susan (Jeff) Phelps, David (Martha) Schoppe, Sandra Anderson, Pam Schoppe, Lauri (Dan) Millot, Kas (Patti) Schoppe, Kevin Schoppe, Diane (Nathan) Watson, Bill (Lynne) Dempsey, and Stephanie (Matt) Freitag, 24 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchilren, two brothers, Louis and Lawrence Bork, one sister, Marion Elrich, and many nieces and nephews.  Lucille was preceded in passing by her parents, husband, Howard, two great-grandchildren, Greer and Erin, and her five brothers; Harvey, Wesley, Willard, Howard, and Leonard.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Richmond Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Weiss officiating.  Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00pm on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Monroe Funeral Home, and on Tuesday from 10:00am until service time at the church.  Interment will follow funeral services Richmond Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, any donations made to the family will be given to Time Is Now.  MONROE FUNERAL HOME, in Delavan, WI, is assisting the family.
