Madalyn “Maddy” J. Anderson, age 92, of Elkhorn formerly of Chicago passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Holton Manor in Elkhorn.
Maddy was the kindest, sweet person you could ever meet. She always went the extra mile to help people and she had a real 6th sense about when you needed it. I will always miss Maddy’s friendship we shared, her storytelling, her sense of humor, and her words of wisdom. I remember the words she said to me once in one of our many conversations. She said “Charlotte don’t cry for me when I pass away. Smile because it happened.” I am so very lucky to have had something that makes saying goodbye so hard.
