Madeline E. Mitchell, age 89 of Delavan, WI, passed away Sunday August 10, 2014 at her home at Golden Years Care Center in Walworth, WI. She was born October 19, 1924, the daughter of Emil and Clara (Rubeck) Johnson. Madeline was united in marriage to Robert Mitchell in 1959 in Rockford, IL. Robert preceded in passing on August 6, 2001. She spent her working career as an Executive Secretary at Sta-Rite Industries in Delavan. For over 20 years, Madeline wintered in Naples, FL. Madeline was a member of Calvary Community Church.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Maxine Johnson of Delavan, and her niece and nephew, Stanton (Bonnie) Johnson of Menasha, WI, and Kim (Joel) Reyenga of Williams Bay, WI, nephew-in-law, Carl Johnson of FL. Madeline was preceded in passing by her parents, husband , Robert, her brother, Frank Johnson, and niece, Linda Johnson.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Calvary Community Church in Williams Bay, WI. Visitation will be held one hour prior at the Calvary Community Church. Burial will follow funeral services at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan, WI. Memorials may be made to Calvary Community Church Missionary Fund.
